Eden Hazard suffers barbaric stamp by Marcos Rojo as Chelsea knock Man Utd out of FA Cup

Marcos Rojo could be facing a ban after appearing to stamp on Chelsea’s Eden Hazard during an FA Cup quarter-final clash between the two sides.

The Argentine defender clashed with the likes of striker Diego Costa as Man Utd were reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of Ander Herrera.
Like Ibrahimovic, the Man United defender could face a retrospective ban for a stamp on Hazard that appeared intentional.
Hazard went down after he was clipped by Rojo, and in an attempt to escape the Chelsea man on the floor, the 26-year-old appears to stamp on the Belgium.
And after the furore caused by Tyrone Mings’ head stamp on Zlatan Ibrahimovic just over a week ago, the FA are likely to hand Hazard some retrospective punishment.
His stamp was similar to the one Bourenmouth defender Tyrone Mings did on Ibrahimovic for which he was handed a five-match ban.
Rojo may receive a similar punishment with matches against Middlesbrough, West Brom and Everton the ones he would most likely miss.
N'Golo Kante scored the only goal in as Chelsea defeated United 1 - 0 at Stamford Bridge. The Blues faces Tottenham in the semi-final.
United's sole intentions will now turn to the Europa League and a top four finish.
